Shipping policy

Order Processing Times

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Portuguese public holidays). Orders placed after 2:00 PM (GMT) will be processed on the following business day. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. 

Important Note on Made-to-Order Items

Our hand-embroidered pieces are uniquely crafted for you. Please note that these items require a manufacturing period of up to 10 business days before they are dispatched. If your order includes both "Ready-to-Ship" and "Made-to-Order" items, the entire order will be shipped together once the embroidered piece is ready. 

Shipping Origins & Carriers

All Ginga products are designed and shipped from our warehouse in Lisbon, Portugal. We partner with CTT to ensure fast and reliable door-to-door delivery worldwide. 

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination.

  • Portugal (Continental): 1-2 business days.
  • European Union: 2-4 business days.
  • Rest of the World (including UK): 3-5 business days.

Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to external factors such as customs processing or peak seasonal periods. 

International Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Inside the European Union: Prices include Portuguese VAT (IVA), and no additional customs duties apply.
Outside the European Union (International): Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.


Shipping Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Ginga is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If you notice an error, contact us immediately at beachwear.ginga@gmail.com—we can update the address as long as the order hasn't been dispatched. 

Failed Delivery & Unclaimed Packages

If the courier is unable to deliver the package after several attempts, or if the package is refused by the customer due to customs fees, it will be returned to our warehouse. In these cases, the original shipping cost and any return fees incurred will be deducted from your refund.
