We hope you are happy with your purchase. If you are not fully satisfied, you may request a return for a refund in accordance with the conditions below.
Return Period
Customers may request a return within 14 days of delivery. This period complies with the mandatory consumer rights under European law (Directive 2011/83/EU).
Return Conditions (Hygiene Requirements)
Due to the nature of our products (swimwear) and for reasons of health and hygiene, items must be:
- With the hygiene seal intact: Returns will only be accepted if the protective hygiene sticker has not been removed or tampered with.
- Unworn, unwashed, and unused.
- With all original tags and labels attached.

Free from stains (including makeup or deodorant), odours, damage, or signs of wear.
Ginga reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these hygiene and quality conditions.
Return Shipping Costs
The cost of the return shipment is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrect item sent by Ginga. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
No Exchanges
Ginga does not offer direct exchanges. If you require a different size, colour, or style, please follow the return process for a refund and place a new order for the desired item on our website. This ensures the fastest way to secure the item you want.
How to Request a Return

- Your order number;
- The item(s) you wish to return;

After your request is reviewed, our team will provide the return instructions.
Refunds
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within 14 days of the approval of the return. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where required by law.
Sale Items
Items purchased during sales or promotions are subject to the same hygiene rules. This does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
Exclusions for Custom-Made Items
Please note that our hand-embroidered items are considered personalised goods made to order. According to EU consumer protection laws, these items are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive defective or damaged. We encourage you to check our size guide carefully before purchasing a custom piece.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is defective or incorrect, please contact us immediately at beachwear.ginga@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the issue. Ginga will cover the return shipping cost and provide a full refund.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any mandatory rights available to consumers under the Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014 and EU Consumer Directives.
